RCLA INAUGURAL DONORS

The following organizations and individuals were the first to support the RCLA and help get us off the ground. We would like to recognize them for believing in our cause.

The Recovery Coach Leadership Academy would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Randy Anderson and Bold North Recovery for being one of the very first organizations to support our mission through their generous donation. Randy’s leadership and advocacy at the state level, along with his continued commitment to professional development within the CPRS workforce, have helped strengthen and elevate peer recovery support services across Minnesota. Beyond the professional impact, Randy and Bold North Recovery have made a lasting difference in my own life and in the lives of so many of my colleagues through their guidance, support, and dedication to the recovery community. We are deeply thankful for their belief in the mission of the RCLA and their continued investment in helping others succeed in recovery and service.

The Recovery Coach Leadership Academy would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Katie Blue, the Recovery Community Network, John Donovan, and the entire incredible RCN staff for their generous donation and unwavering support. RCN has played an immeasurable role in both my personal recovery journey and my professional development, providing guidance, opportunity, mentorship, and a community that truly believes in the power of recovery. I can honestly say that I would not be where I am today without the support, leadership, and encouragement I received from RCN. Working alongside such passionate and dedicated people has been an absolute honor and privilege, and I will always be grateful for the impact each of you has had on my life and the lives of so many others in recovery.

Quotes from MCF LL CPRS

“You showed me that it’s possible to go to GREAT heights after lock up. Thank you.”

“Sean, your story is an inspiration to us all. You are a living testament that change is possible.”

“Thank you for taking the time to feed us great and important information. You have been a great inspiration.”

It has been an honor and a privilege to train the Certified Peer Recovery Specialists inside the MN DOC. It feels like a full-circle moment in my life to now be teaching within the walls of some of the very facilities where I once served time. The connection that forms when people with lived experience of justice involvement give back to those currently experiencing incarceration is powerful, deeply meaningful, and truly unmatched. My vision and passion is to continue to help people gain hope, purpose and direction… and never return to a state of incarceration.

“Thank you for your time and knowledge. I know it’s going to benefit my life greatly.”
